Our mission to Cambodia has come to an end. I believe we have put a huge smile on Papa God's heart as we ministered in the province of Kampong Chnang this week. I am so proud of our team for being gumbies and listening to Holy Spirit as our original plans had changed.
Yesterday we put on a mini VBS for the kids. We sang songs, told the story of the wiseman and foolish man; emphasizing the importance of building on a strong foundation. We ended the VBS with 500 water balloons. The kids went wild. Everyone had such a blast! The day ended when we invited the leaders to come to dinner and we said our official goodbyes. There were many tears shed.
Today, we worked a half a day finishing up the house project. Before our departure Mark shared his testimony with the father of the home. His testimony was very similar with what this family is facing at this time. The father was very attentive and appreciative of everything we had done. We had given him some hope in his world of darkness. We ended our stay by presenting a framed family picture for them to hang on their wall. We had very good week! Everyone was in tears when we said our last goodbyes! We all had made some very good connections this week and have impacted the area with much love. Please continue to pray as we're getting ready to board our first of three flights. Everyone is doing well, but are very tired and our journey has not even started.
